I would suggest a complete revision of the measurement widget. The tool seems very primative and not intuitive to how users take measuremnts in a GIS. First and foremost, there needs to be a more efficient way to take MULTI segment linear measurements, either creating a log and/or labels on the map with the individual segments listed. Something similar to previous ESRI products such as ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, or even ArcReader had a much more powerful measurement tool. Google earth, Google Maps, GeoCortex, everyone else can figure this out, but the widget in ExB is pretty much useless for people who work with cadastral data and try to "follow along" a survey, metes and bounds description, or most commonly, legal deeds of property ownership.
