Oftentimes in websites we expect that clicking a logo will bring you to that website's homepage. In Experience Builder, you can add these links, but if you click them from the page you're on, they do nothing. The expected and desired functionality is that it refreshes the page or scrolls up. This is what most sites do, and provides consistency. Users may not be aware that they are on the home page, especially in the case of long pages or pages with map screen groups. Clicking the logo and having it scroll to the top would point them in the right direction rather than confusing them or thinking your website is broken.
As a workaround in the meantime, you can add a URL link to the homepage rather than selecting it from the Page option. This will reload the page and all its resources, though.
