Link views navigation to sidebar widget

I have to put sections within sidebars in order to get the views to connect. The issue is that sections do not collapse and in order to get that functionality it all has to be within a side bar, but then the views do not connect to just the sidebar. It starts to get messy when creating and moving things around and I wish the widgets just connected more freely.

The hack I worked out is functional, but can’t get the panels to collapse as you mentioned.

I also submitted an idea to design the Feature Info widget to be able to display attributes from more than one feature layer at a time.
