The Near Me widget is a great tool and it can be configured to turn on layers used for the analysis if they are turned off.
In some cases it would be super helpful to turn off automatically those layers when the user delete the results of the Near Me analysis.
So, my Idea is to add this option in the Near Me configuration.
The Near Me widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder currently includes features in its analysis results even when their layers are not visible on the map due to scale settings or being toggled off in the web map. This behavior is misleading to end users and inconsistent with the Screening widget in Web AppBuilder, which correctly excludes non-visible layers when the "Do not analyze or report results for layers that are not visible" option is enabled. For accuracy and usability, Near Me should respect both layer visibility toggles and scale-dependent visibility when analyzing and reporting results.
