Configurable filter labels

We would love to customise the filter labels as we find them very small. We think they should be highlighted in some way (size font, bold font...)
As they are not configurable, we customized the font size to 125% in themes, but it has some drawbacks:
- It makes all the texts and buttons bigger which is not always desired especially in the mobile version.
- The numbers in the lists with pages are cut, no matter what you do to avoid it.
Somehow related to this, when using a horizontal filter of the type "between" + "and", the latter is a very light grey that makes it invisible to the user. If they were configurable we would be able to solve it.
