Ability to customise the appearance of the Timeline Widget

It would be good to have the ability to customise the appearance  of the Timeline widget (much like one can edit the style of a scalebar in Pro) so that it looks like the time slider in Map Viewer: 

 

The Map Viewer view is much easier to comprehend - particularly because it only shows dates (not times). It would be good to have the option to toggle the display of times on and off, edit  font sizes etc.

Agree with all of your points. Another Timeline change I would love to see is the ability to define the starting time window, particularly the ability to show all data when the timeline is first opened. I was able to modify the JSON in the webmap to achieve this but haven't been able to do so in ExB and it's not inherited.

Further to my above post - it is essential to be able to customise the date format on the timeline widget in Exp Builder to DD/MM/YYYY.  The current format (MM/DD/YYYY) is confusing for members of the public who view a map we have put on our public website. ie: this looks like 10th - 12th Jan, but it actually is 1st October to 1st December:

I agree with requirement for more options to change style of timeline. I want to add one more - ability to show only 1 point on line, not range. Now I can change it, but not as initial view and after it still looks like 2 point not one and it is confusing. It looks much more better in Map Viewer than in ExB.
