I currently have expired Portal licenses and ArcGIS Server licenses with "never expire".

What specifically happens to the activities when the Portal licenses expire?

I'll try to give some examples:

  • Portal Applications
  • Server Services shared with Everyone
  • Protected Services
  • Geoprocessing
  • etc etc.
  •

Which users can still log in?

Creator (Administrator) users will always be able to access the Portal or after a period will it no longer be possible?

Thank you

Virgilio

Hi Virgilio,

Members assigned the default Administrator role are able to access the ArcGIS Enterprise portal after the Portal for ArcGIS licenses have expired so that they can import a new and valid license file.
Please obtain a new Portal for ArcGIS license file from My Esri and import into your ArcGIS Enterprise portal. Without this, members will be unable to sign in and the organization will not work properly.

Additionally, obtaining the valid license file from My Esri allows you to remain in compliance with the terms defined within the licensing agreement.

Thank you,
Marley
