Anybody has done successfully on configuring ArcSDE 10.1 for SQL Server?
After the installation of ArcSDE 10.1, what will be next?
I tried many times by following the installation guide. I never got a success.
I am doubting that I am following the right steps all not. For example, in the register of ADMIN_DATABASE, which database should I use? Should I create a database, e.g., SDE, first, and then set the value of ADMIN_DATABASE to SDE?
I checked my SQL Server log file, it always says:
2013-05-07 16:33:17.15 Logon Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 38.
2013-05-07 16:33:17.15 Logon Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database 'sde'. [CLIENT: <local machine>]
