Web GIS in Azure and Amzon license agreement

If we decide to go use Web GIS over Azure or Amzon, I wonder do we need provide ArcGIS Server License ourselves or Cloud service provider can take care of that also (Apparently they will add cost if they also provide license )

Hi Shafi,

When you deploy ArcGIS for Server in the Cloud, in Amazon or Azure, you will need to provide the ArcGIS for Server license file. The provider does not provide the files. You can obtain them by downloading them from the My Esri (https://accounts.esri.com).

I wonder  Cloud Builder desktop app is based on azure ARM or ASM. Knowing the fact ASM will be depreciated

Hi Shafi,

The very first release of Cloud Builder for Azure was built on ASM. But since that release, it is now fully built on ARM.
