I'm wondering if there is a way to set scale constraint based on a attribute in the table?  So, I have 20,000 trees, and am looking for our Ash trees, right - the emerald ash bore beetle; so, I want to set up for our arborist to do field editing from an iPad through ArcGIS Online connected to a service I host internally that is pointed to the LGIM on our SDE.  I want to see the Ash trees from a higher scale, but see all the trees when zoomed in.

You would have to add the layer twice and use a definition query to show in one the "the emerald ash bore beetle" and in the other everything but the "the emerald ash bore beetle". Set the scale in which they should be visibly accordingly.

Kind regards, Xander
