I would like to check if anyone has experience or official guidance regarding the use of Oracle Database Resident Connection Pooling (DRCP) with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3.
From Oracle documentation, DRCP has been available since Oracle Database 11g Release 2 and is designed to reduce database session overhead for applications with many short-lived connections. However, in Esri documentation and supported environment, I could not find any explicit reference to DRCP being supported, unsupported, or tested with ArcGIS Enterprise.
My questions are:
Has DRCP been officially tested or validated with ArcGIS Enterprise (11.x or earlier versions)?
Are there any known issues, limitations, or risks when using DRCP with ArcGIS Server / Portal /ArcGIS Pro connecting to Oracle?
Any official clarification, best practices, or real-world experience would be highly appreciated.
