IS the annual licensing fee mandatory when you buy ArcGIS Enterprise?

Our company is planning to buy ArcGIS Enterprise. The quote we got includes one time fee and annual licensing fee. Do we have to pay annual licensing fee if we don't need service and the latest version?

When you purchase an Esri product, 1 year annual maintenance is included in it. There is no way you can avoid that fee, even you don't want to upgrade the product to later version. But, you can choose not to opt for the Annual Maintenance in the following years.

It would be wise to consult with you local Esri rep. for further details.
