Is it possible to edit a feature service form the ArcGIS desktop

Is it possible to edit a feature service form the ArcGIS desktop ?

If yes how, If not Why we cannot do this at the level of desktop and we can do it at the level of the web mapping applications !!!

Hi Ahmad,

Do you have Sync enabled under the Feature Access operations?  Editing in Desktop requires that you make a local file geodatabase for editing and syncing the changes - ArcGIS Help 10.1 .

first we should create a local copy for editing and then edit and synchronize
