Error when trying to change Data Store backup location using the configurebackuplocation tool

Hello all,

I'm trying to configure our data store backup location using the configurebackuplocation tool. When I run the tool I get an error message saying "Error Encountered: Machine 'https://machine.domain:2443/arcgis/datastoreadmin' returned an error. 'null'"

We are currently using Enterprise 11.1. This is our first time attempting to configure this so any help on where we can start to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Steve just a few leading questions to ask.

1. Is the new backup location on the same machine?

2. Does the ArcGIS Service account have read/write permissions to this directory?

3.Do we get any results in the Datastore or Server logs when trying to run the utility?
