Configuring print services in arc server to portal for GIS

We are having a heck of a time getting the printing services to work for us. We have our geo databases already registered with arc server and have published some services to arc server as well. We want to use the printing services in conjunction with portal for my endusers. But all the info I have read online has me more confused than ever.

We also are using web app builder. And out geo databases are in a enterprise sql server 2016 database.

Is there an actual step by step tutorial for this.

What problem are you having?  Are you unable to set the printing service as a utility service or do you need some more information about it?  Here is the online documentation, seems like you've seen this already.

Well I just actually put in a request to support now;

I actually got the printing services to work from arc map using the server tools..etc. Very confusing reading that document. But I have an ExportWebMap geoprocessing servise running in arc server now.

But Now in portal I can get the url to work and show in The web app builder with portal. But when I use the tool I get a “Error Try Again error”.

When I look at my arcr server logs I see that I have an error excuting tool .Export job “””” error.

So I maybe something is not working with the tool?

Are there any more errors within the Server logs, for example the task not being able to access a specific service URL?

Yeah my portal log is full of nasty errors.
