ArcGIS Server with Azure SQL Managed Database and MFA Failing to Publish

Hi

We have an Enterprise 11.5 deployment connected to an Azure SQL Managed Database.

With the release of Pro3.6, we can now connect to the database from Pro using the Entra MFA authentication method, as the 31char username limit has been fixed.

What we cant do is register a datastore connection on ArcGIS Server, where the publisher connection is the MFA connection, and the server connection used DBMS auth.  The connection registers just fine from either the server, or by creating it in Pro, but when you publish a service, it just eventually times out after 12 hours.  there are notable errors in the server log, and the same service published fine to a data store connection which uses a DBMS-Published to DBMS-Server connection swizzle.

The job uploads and starts on the server, and the job logs just say its processing.

Anyone else doing this?  Should this work (it seems like something which should!).  There is a statement in some docs which says an MFA connection cant be used by a server, but we're not doing that, we are swizzling from a published MFA connection to a server DBMS conenction.

Thanks for any tips!
