Hi there,

We are in the process of setting up an ArcGIS Server 10.1 cluster under Linux and are attempting to use a clustered file system for the sites config-store and directories. The clustered file system is to ensure no single point of failure for the server cluster and uses Gluster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GlusterFS).

At this stage we can setup to nodes as part of the cluster however when we attempt to publish services via ArcGIS Desktop we are getting errors relating to the GPServer crashing and issues with changing the status of the jobs. See the log errors below. These issues do not occur if we mount the site on a standard mount.

Has anyone attempted this (and got it working) or are there better alternatives to a single site configuration that provides a level of redundancy?

Thanks,

Stuart
