Good Morning all,

Is ArcGIS Monitor replacing System Test for the Web? Are there benefits for having both installed in our organization or should we just implement ArcGIS Monitor?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,

They both have a different purpose. System Test for Web is a testing tool for performance and load test whereas ArcGIS Monitor can be used to collect and analyse data on the status, usage, availability, and resource for your Enterprise GIS.

Cheers,

Rushi

Hey Rushi,

We were unable to install Systems Test for Web on our server machine because it is Windows Server 2016. Is there an updated version/tool for Server 2016? Or a workaround like installing it to a Windows Server 2014 machine and connecting to the database from there?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,

The latest version supports Windows server 2016. One of the requirements for System Test for the Web is to have windows authentication enabled on the database.  It won't let you connect to the database without it. Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Rushi
