Due to a third party package dependency, the agency where I work is always behind in releases of ArcGIS.  Currently, I have an ArcServer/SDE database set up in version 10.0 and I use database replication.  I am about to embark on a beta-test for the third party developers, which allows me to use ArcGIS version 10.2.2.

Is it possible to one-way replicate from a 10.0 parent/SDE to a 10.2.2 child/file geodatabase?

That should just about do it....

Hi Joe,

Yes this is possible.  For all replication types, the child replica geodatabase must be the same geodatabase release as or a later release than the parent replica geodatabase.  See the following link:

ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)
