Hello,

Portal for ArcGIS no longer displays the list of members under Organization > Members. Instead, it displays the message, "No members have joined this group yet." The attached screenshot shows the message.

We'd appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thanks.

Regards,

Stephen

Maybe it needs to be reindexed?

How does one re-index Portal as a trouble-shooting procedure?

Paraphrasing the FAQ:

Open the ArcGIS Portal Directory and sign in with an administrator account. The URL is formatted https://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptor/portaladmin.

Click System - Indexer - Index Status.

Refresh the page to obtain the latest status.

Depending on the result of the index status:

Navigate to System - Indexer - Reindex.

Click the Mode drop-down list, and select Full. Leave all other settings to default.

Click Reindex.

I would like to suggest setting up a script to re-index nightly.

Hello @Anonymous User do you have an example script to do the nightly indexing?

I'm currently experiencing something similar. After using the CreateUsers tool to add a number of users, then deleting them after realizing an error in their username format I now cannot access the 'members' page of my portal - it just spins and spins. I tried reindexing but no luck. Any other suggestions?

FYI our IT rolled back the drives on our portal machine where the /portal folders are stored. This appears to have resolved the issue. Why it occurred in the first place I don't know.
