Doing research on this subject and haven't found any conclusive results. My ArcGIS Enterprise suite is on a virtualized set up with each component installed on its own machine. If a secondary ArcGIS server was uninstalled on the VM before unfederating, how will I be able to remove the federation from Portal?

Any help/suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

You'll need to go to
https://portalserver:7443/arcgis/sharing/rest/portals/self; then to the
"Servers" option; from here you will see each of your registered AGS
servers; you can select to Unfederate it from here.

The REST Admin interface is a very powerful place; be very cautious and
conscientious of what you are trying to do.

Thanks for suggesting this. However, I was finally able to reinstall ArcGIS Server and unfederate the correct way instead.

That is good; un-federating and re-federating is a dicey. I accumulated a lot of experience in this unfortunately.

I suggest you connect with your Esri Suport first.
