Sharing Feature Layer AND Map Image Layer

Hey all,

In Enterprise, to give accurate permissions to groups, you not only need to share the Feature Layer, but also need to share the Map Image Layer. This has caused much headache because sharing the Feature Layer is quite easy, but when it comes time to fix the issue where the MIL wasn't shared, you have to track down the MIL which takes additional time.

Is there currently a way to share both the Feature Layer and Map Image Layer at once?

Hi @CodyPatterson 

When you're sharing a Map Image Layer in ArcGIS Pro—especially one that references registered data—you can also choose to share a Web Feature Layer alongside it.

Then share both Map Image and Feature layer at same time with the group.

Thank you for the response! In this case, I more meant the sharing of feature layers within ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, in most cases, a feature layer is published, edited, and then shared with required groups, so normally this action takes place post publish. A button that shares both feature layers and map image layers would be great though!
