I'm printing a map in PDF format and I have a problem with fonts using Mask and Halo. I'm getting the Halo too sharped specially with word such "M". I have tried several configuration into ArcMap and into the PDF driver as well but the problem remains.
The problem has been resolved changing the PDF driver. An alternative option, I don't really like (but alternative) is to use a shadow instead of halo.
