Members losing accessing to SAML group

Hi all,
Has this happened to you?
A member of a SAML group unassigned to Group in Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 after its associated SAML group is altered?
Occasionally, our IT departments changes whose is in the Sailpoint group via SQL-like logic (Select employees WHERE JobTitle=A).
In the Members list, they still exist but no longer associated as Group. It seems that if the sign in, they rejoin the group (sometimes). Another option could be removing the Members, have them sign in and they reassociate with the Group
The manual adjustment seems to work, but is not preferred considering my organization changes our access requirements a lot.
