I have a set of shapefiles with a .lyr file linked to each of them.
In order to be able to create representations, I imported the shapefiles in a geodatabase.
Next I wanted to create a represenation for the shapefiles, based on the symbology stored in the .lyr.
In arcCatalog I tried to create representations, checking the box 'import representain rules from a layer file'. When I do this, the 'Next'-button cannot be selected anymore (same with the checkbox 'assign rules to features to match the layer').
