Is Arcade FeatureSets available in Portal 10.8.1?

Hello,

I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1. I don't see the $map in the Globals. Is Arcade FeatureSets mentioned in this blog available in Portal 10.8.1?

Looks like it (click "Since Version 1.5" on this page Data Functions | ArcGIS Arcade | ArcGIS Developer). Which profile are you using aka are you using arcade in the popup, symbology, or elsewhere?

It really depends on where you're using Arcade. There are a number of different Arcade Profiles, and not all of them support the $map global.

All I wanted to do is the same as what described in the blog, to show the count of features of LayerA in LayerB's popups.

The two layers are from different map services and are added to the same web map in Portal 1.8.1. Am I missing something here?

I just figured out that the $map in Globals is only available for feature service layers not map service layers.
