Hi,

I would like to display an image of a line in its context in the legend rather than the line itself. I am not sure I am very clear here so see the example attached from the ESRI conservation map book. The items to show is a polygon border but how can I manage to display it as a "mini screenshot" in the legend?

Thanks

One was to do this is to create another data frame the size of the legend box. Put all the necessary layers into that data frame and zoom to the appropriate area. Then just position the data frame over the existing legend box.

You can insert pictures as page objects and put them over the symbols in your legend.

Thanks for your answers, I was hopping ESRI would provide a more "official" way to do this.
