Error Assigning a GeoAnalytics Server in Portal 10.5.1

I am unable to add a GeoAnalytics server in ArcGIS Portal 10.5.1 (see attached screenshot).  This worked in 10.5...

The server federates without any issues, and it is licensed as a GeoAnalytics Server.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

If I understand well, I should unfederate, switch to "http and https", then federate again using "http" urls, and switch back to "https only" ?

There's no need to unfederate, just set the protocol of the federated Server to http and https and then try to update the federated Server's role.
