can not snap layers imported from mxd

Hi, everyone.

Is there any way to snap layers imported from MXD (Arcmap map document) when we use mesurement tool (widget) on portal app.

I was able to snap edting layers imported from GDB (file geodatabase), but not layers imported from MXD.
