we´re installing Portal in Higth Available , so we have hardware balancer (HB) to ServerWeb where we want to install WebAdaptor.

For security, this HA implement Network Address Translation (NAT)  too.

When we configure web adaptor, write https://<HBalias.domain.com>/<webadaptorname>/webadaptor.
it doesn’t work
Howerver, if we write https://<ServerWeb1.domain.com>/<webadaptorname>/webadaptor, then it does

Hi Sergio,

Did you add the shared NAT ip in DNS and IIS?

Hi Bill,

both ip were added in dns, but i think webadaptor checks if ip where is installed is the same ip where is register, but for NAT is not.

thank you.

Is the NAT-ed ip added as a second ip to the NIC on the server where web adaptor is installed?

Bill , NAT-ed is not added. Is it necessary?

yes, and use a wildcard SSL cert for your domain

also, this was a pain to try and update,so we dropped back to non-HA portal and ArcGIS Server.
