In multiple places, I've seen Esri reference V1 and V2 deployment patterns for ArcGIS Enterprise in Azure, including this workshop by Nik Shampur and Shailesh Goel at the 2020 Developer Summit. Does Esri have any details on how to implement these patterns if not using the ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder?
Specifically, I'm looking for a way to configure a HA environment with 2 multiple-machine deployments (Portal, Server, and Data Store on the same VM). Is Azure Application Gateway (though expensive) the correct load balancing solution? How exactly should the Application Gateway be configured to route traffic correctly to Portal and to Server?
Any documentation that Esri could provide as a reference would be helpful.
