Show (Portal) configuration progress in addition to rotating icon
I really like the improvements to the installation and konfiguration wizard in ArcGIS Pro 11.
However the rotating icon to indicate progress is not helpful.
You never know what is happening: did the VM connection freeze? did Windows freeze? Is the installer in an infinite loop? Will the process ever finish?
I propose to log the actual steps that are taken in the background to the space below, similar to how it is done for ArcGIS Server (see below. Progressbar also does not indicate any progress).
When something unexpected happens, you should have information to pinpoint the issue and also use the steps to get a feel to where the configuration is at.
A live updating log - Something like: Step 1) configure xy (success) Step 2) set up Z (in progress),...
