Having feature services available in Server v10 is great. And leveraging off the edit templates makes setting them up very easy. But why not support the full suite of rendering/symbology options that are available when you publish a Map Service. Only being able to use simple polygon and line symbols and having to use picture markers for points severly limits the usefulness of the feature services. If i have 10 different subtypes i want to capture or edit in my web app, i soon run out of simple polygon renders to differentiate the types and the map interface soon becomes very confusing. Is that the light blue, medium blue or dark blue???
