feature request: Item owner history

When an item in ArcGIS Enterprise (or Online) gets a new owner, it's not possible to see who the previous owner was. For example, somebody has left the organization and therefore all items are transferred to another account. In some cases it would help administrators or the new owner of the item to know who the previous owner was. This feature could be very useful for audits, when it's important to know the origin of an item. 

What I would like is that each time an item changes owner, the previous owner is logged. Thereby creating a list of previous owners. This list should be visible to administrators and the current owner of the item.

Using the search functionality, administrators and users can search for items that were previously owned by another user, which is specified in the search query.

This functionality would be greatly useful, can Esri provide any information on whether this is on the roadmap to becoming available in Portal?

This would be a very useful feature, especially for large organizations with a lot of publishers or when key staff move on.

This would be a life saver after things have been reassigned multiple times when people have left the organization. Currently there's no way even to see who the original creator of the item was.

This would definitely be a helpful feature for ArcGIS Online items!
