We would like to be able to create a custom layer template in ArcGIS Enterprise similar to those provided by ESRI where the schema would be fixed and not editable.
The item type 'Layer Template' as found ArcGIS Enterprise
The template should be creatable by the organisation adminstrator and should not be configurable by any other user. This would mean that standards could be adhered to and not 'accidentally' changed like it is possible to do when using the 'use an existing feature layer option'.
This should apply to both ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
