Persistence of polygon selections while using KML element <MultiGeometry>

When using the <MultiGeometry> KML element to regroup a point and a polygon in a single Placemark, I stumbled upon the persistence of the polygon selection. Turning off the layer or removing it from the TOC won’t change a thing. I must close and open ArcGIS Earth to make the selection disappear.

Is it a bad KML syntax from me? Or a bug?

*Note that the point selection does disappear. I did not try with a line.

@YongweiKang I can see that this bug has been fixed in ArcGIS Earth 1.17.

Thanks to you and to the whole dev team!

I am seeing the same issue with a network linked KML file. As points update the points removed are still showing. Even after deleting out the kml they show until the program is restarted.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it should be a bug. KML MultiGeometry support in ArcGIS Earth is not well. e.g. the highlight and editing. We will dig into this issue and fix it.

Thanks!
