Mapping the electromagnetic field over the Earth surface

May the ArcGIS users help the Earth? It is urgent to map the electromagnetic field over the Earth surface,
because the huge amount of satellites, mobiles, computers and so on, creates an extra electromagnetism field. Although NASA discusses physics-based reasons why changes in the magnetic field can’t impact
Earth's surface weather and subsequently climate in:
https://climate.nasa.gov/ask-nasa-climate/3104/flip-flop-why-variations-in-earths-magnetic-field-are...,
climate change is not only warming.

A contribution of ArcGIS users may be useful in this discussion: the disequilibrium of the planet.
Our contribution may show what is the effect both over the Earth magnetosphere and on geodynamics.
The problem is no more how volcanoes can affect climate as referred by
https://www.usgs.gov/programs/VHP/volcanoes-can-affect-climate.
The problem is how volcano hazards are related with the disequilibrium of the planet.

Hi @LuisaConsiglieri ,

Thanks for sharing such professional ideas with ArcGIS Earth Team! We are always concerned about global climate change and would like to help the Earth.

The ArcGIS Earth currently supports loading and viewing geomagnetic data from AGOL. Feel free to share your climate-related ideas in ArcGIS Living Atlas Ideas, where there is more professional knowledge about map data to provide you with better suggestions.

Thanks,

Lexie

Thanks a lot, Lexie.

Do you know where can I find some electromagnetic field data?

I am trying to plan: <iframe src="https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/0ffa6f24837a45e3acb00469880b671f" width="100%" height="500px" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allow="geolocation"></iframe>

Thank you.

Luisa

Hi @LuisaConsiglieri ,

Awesome idea !  Thanks for sharing.

I think you could try to search electromagnetic field data on ArcGIS Online, where a great number of users of ArcGIS platform share their insights to their organization (may need special access or purchase) or everyone in public (maybe for free) .  From ArcGIS Earth as a client,  all kinds of data on ArcGIS Online also can be easily accessed.

I tried to search 'electromagnetic ' in the Search box of Add Data,  and found some related layers.

Not sure if it helps.

 Hope you enjoy it !
