ArcGIS Earth build upon newest Google Earth

If my assumption is right, ArcGIS Earth is built upon Google Earth. If so, is it possible to use the newest Google Earth when pushing an upgrade? The Google Earth version I use (7.3.3.7786) has oblique imagery and provides much real to life experience than the older versions. Just wonder how hard will it be to incorporate that with new versions of ArcGIS Earth? Thanks!
