I have a technical issue with ArcGIS Desktop... I'd like to speak with technical support. where do I get help?

When I save an .mxd and then subsequently open it... there is no content. It is blank.

If I 'save-as', then the older version remains intact, but the new one is wiped clean.

I tried upgraded to a fresh install of ArcGIS 10.7.1, but the issue remains.

If you're current on maintenance, you should be able to submit a case with technical support: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support
