High Resolution Imagery Basemap option is missing in ArcMap.

The imagery basemap is still exactly where it was.

Obviously, the resolution varies depending on what is available.

Are you saying that, in your area of interest, the resolution has degraded?

Hi Ajit,

I think the High Resolution Imagery BaseMap (Even I am not getting it on my ADD BASEMAP list) takes up the World_Imagery service of Esri. You could use the Imagery basemap instead.

Just found a link of High Resolution Imagery on Living Atlas of the World | ArcGIS .by Deane Kensok.

Check the details in the link for further information.

For Indian subcontinent, both the basemaps seem to be equivalent.

You could use any of the 04 basemaps in Living Atlas of the World | ArcGIS
