In ArcMap, I used to be able to group records in the reviewer table based on multiple fields - https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/extensions/data-reviewer/grouping-reviewer-table-records...
It was easy to click on a column heading, drag it to the top of the table, and have the table grouped according to that column heading. I would often have the table grouped by 2 or 3 different columns at the same time. This was incredibly useful when there were 1000+ records in a reviewer table (which is almost always the case) and allowed me to quickly sort through the records.
Can we get this grouping functionality included in the Reviewer Results table in Pro? Right now I have the ability to use some keyboard shortcuts to jump to the top/bottom of the table but that's about it. It takes so much longer to navigate through the results table now and it's easy to miss an error or two when I can't group the errors by type.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Unfortunately, the Reviewer Results pane (and other tools that support ArcMap-based workflows) are scheduled for deprecation in a future release.
We recommend that users start transitioning their workflows from Reviewer batch jobs to Data Reviewer automated checks and visual QC tools in attribute rules. You can learn more about migrating to attribute rules in this help topic.
@Remmertand others who find this idea, please see the following ArcGIS Pro idea requesting similar functionality (grouping is a form of sorting) and add your specific use-case and kudos to show your support:
Note: The Error Inspector supports error management for multiple workflows including Topology rules and Attribute rules (where Data Reviewer error features live). Enhancements to the Error Inspector are typically shared across these workflows.
Thanks!
