I have operations dashboard on ArcGIS Online. I set it to public on both web map and operations dashboard. It is still required to sign in to ArcGIS Online. Please advise. Thank you!

After setting all the right permissions, I had to change the organizational URL to a generic one. E.g from

http: //MyOrg.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/

to

http: //www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/

Thanks for this solution. Can you tell me where you changed the organizational URL? Was it in a settings menu within Dashboards?

Hi,
Is there any solution to access the Web map/dashboards without making them Public for security/safety reasons data cannot be make as public? And it must be accessible without ArcGIS account.

We had the same issue and could not figure out why, with everything shared publicly, the dashboard was still prompting for credentials.  This is the right fix for us.

However, an alternative solution that Esri recommended was to change the settings of the entire organization's AGO site to allow anaonymous access.  This is done in Organization > Settings > Security > Policies.  Certainly not what we wanted to do, but it may be an option for some.

We tried sending out the 'www.arcgis.com' URL to point to a dashboard, and then realized that they could see the dashboard but not all of the content.  We then updated the sharing of the Map that the dashboard was pulling from and it was working (for non-logged in users) with using just our companies ArcGIS Online URL.  We already had our settings set to allow Anonymous access though.
