Currently, the chart widget can only use a single layer or table. It can support multiple series, but only if they are from the same layer or table. It would be useful to be able to render charts from multiple layers or tables in the same chart.

Where is the data stored? If in an relational database (and assuming complimentary table schemas), you might be able (as a workaround) to create a view that merges the tables using SQL commands like UNION or UNION ALL. That view could then be published to a service/layer that gets pulled into the dashboard for display.  For other data sources, the only way to do this would be to physically merge them before being brought into the dashboard.

concur. This is much needed for charting elevation profiles from different tables. The old graphing in ArcMap allowed much more customization in that you could add in multiple layers to the graph to compare profiles made from tables. You could also customize the axis labels, formatting and much more. Why was all this customization taken away in the new charting tool? This all needs to be added back to the charting capabilities. If Esri wants us to completely move away from ArcMap at least include things in to Pro that were built in to our workflows based on what ArcMap could do.
