It would be great if a Related Table's popup/details widget could be modified.

The issue: Since it's not a Feature Service it doesn't have a respective popup therefore it cannot be modified and is stuck as a list of all the attributes in the Dashboard. It would be ideal to be able to control what is displayed in this Details widget at the Dashboard level.

@Amanda__Huber  Dashboards are consumers of popups and authoring/modifying them isn't in our current product plans. When it comes to tables, setting a popup can be done in the Map Viewer. Dashboards will respect any popup info we find for both layers and tables. 

Unfortunately, setting popup info for tables has not been exposed on their item details page. If you want/need to use a standalone table in your dashboard (i.e. one that has not been added to a map), a workaround might be to use the AGO Assistant to manually add the popup info to the table item's behind-the-scenes JSON. (Note: If you choose to try this workaround, we suggest saving a backup copy of your table item first as editing JSON can be error prone).
