Dashboard Serial Charts - Adjust Column Width

As a general aesthetic control improvement, I would appreciate the ability to control the width of columns in a serial chart.
I am working to develop a Gantt Chart using serial charts, but the space between columns presents an aesthetic issue I would like to resolve.
Currently, adjusting Line thickness in the Series settings can achieve the desired affect, but will cause series items to overlap in an unappealing manner.
Perhaps this function could be developed as a slider, akin to the existing Line Thickness slider?
