If you're an ArcGIS Online user with operation view items in your organization, please read this blog post:

Operations Dashboard: Upcoming Change to Operation Views in December 2019 Release

FYI: Operation View items were created using the legacy Windows-based Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS product - which was retired on Jan 1, 2019.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the notice - is there a way to easily search/filter for the Operation View item type (listed in the ArcGIS REST API documentation but not displayed as a filter within ArcGIS Online, Content, Filters, Item Type) ?

For those who have access to GeoJobe Admin Tools (Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online & Portal) Items can be filtered by Type is Operations View, for reference. This may not be an option for everyone.

Hi Paul,

Not quite sure what you're asking here. You can search for "operation views" in your ArcGIS Online organization and find it by item type. Yes, this is a filter search.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the shout-out and recognition! This is correct. In Admin Tools for ArcGIS, you can mix and match many assorted filtered access to your content such as type, which includes Operations View.

I was looking for a way to filter items across an organizational account where the item type is Operation Views, similar to when content is filtered using the Content Filters (in which case the "focus" parameter is used in the URL).

Simply searching the org content for "operation views" with double quotes does return the desired set of items, as long as no other items in the org match that search.

Thanks for the additional information,

Paul

Greetings all!

Just so I'm clear on nomenclature, does this announcement affect users of the Web AppBuilder for Windows app? The screenshot doesn't look like anything I'm working with, but just want to be sure. Thanks for your help.

Best,

Hasheen

Hi Hasheen,

No, this does not relate to apps built on Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS in any way.

Hi Paul. You can use the 'type' search field to find items of a certain type that's not already in the list of filter choices. So, to search content for operation views, search with this phrase: type:"operation view"

You can find all the advanced search fields in this help topic: Use advanced search—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation

Hi Brandy, that's what I was looking for - thanks for that and for the reference!
