Custom CSS to add Label over Search Box?

Would love some help here. I am using the Near By Configurable app and I really want an overlay over the search box saying something like "Search for an Address". Might have to do it in Custom CSS of the configurable app. Any idea how to do it or even possible?

Hello! You can change the text that shows up in the search box without customizing CSS. If you're in the configuration settings, follow these steps:

• Switch to Full Setup mode, if not already there
• Click Interactivity
• Click Search
• Click the ... next to the Geocoding service that you're using for the Search
• Click Edit
• Change the Placeholder Text to your custom text
• Scroll down in the panel and click done (I always forget this step!)
• Publish your app
