Community Analyst, as well as Business Analyst, drive times were recently updated to slightly more detailed drive time polygon which are identical to the drive times created on ArcGIS Online. Part of the reason is to have consistency across multiple applications/services to have identical drive time methodology as it gets messy having different drive time methodologies. I know there have been some enhancement request for Community Analyst/Business Analyst to have a general/fast drive times and a detailed drive time option like the big brother product Business Analyst Desktop has. Would be a nice setting option that could be located in preferences or a check boxes when creating them.
