When I "enable attachments" on my layers, I can no longer edit data points that have previously been placed. What's wrong?

I've got some empty shapefiles that my field team populates in the field using the new ArcCollector. Everything works very smoothly with them.

Recently, I enabled attachments on two layers for a new map template that I made for ArcCollector. Now, when someone places a data point, fills out the attribute, takes a picture, and moves on, they can no longer go back and click on the data point to edit it. What's going on here? Is there an additional setting that allows files to be edited when attachments are edited? I cannot figure this out. Previously, simply clicking on a placed data point allowed you to edit its attributes.

Thanks!
