Hello everyone,
I am working with Collector (not Classic) to enable inspectors to collect points while in the field. Currently I need to create a point feature layer for use in collector that will allow me to collect a point and take a picture that stays connected with the point. I have seen it done before but cannot figure it out for myself. My guess is that i need to create a image field in the attribute table but I am unsure how to make this field hold photos.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Michael
Hi Michael,
This may help you out - FAQ for map creation—Collector for ArcGIS (Classic) | ArcGIS
Perfect thank you
Yep, Catalog, right click, manage, add attachments. Worked for me. Gives you the ability to do a web app and add from there as well.
If you have a basic Desktop License, Add Attachments is not licensed. In this situation, how can you enable a feature class to have attachments so that you can take photos in Collector.
